Day 01 Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi at late evening. Assistance on arrival. Meet and greet the
group with your company's display board. Embark into the air-conditioned
deluxe coaches which are kept ready. Transfer to hotel. Special welcome at
the hotel with garlanding and shehnai music. Shehnai is typical indian
musical instrument normally played at wedding ceremonies etc. Welcome drink
while room keys are handed over to group leader. Group checks into rooms.
Overnight.
Day 02 Delhi
After late breakfast group is taken over by our by our professional guides
who will take the group through a fascinating tour of new Delhi to include
the famous lotus shaped Bahai Temple, Qutub Minar, India Gate and a drive to
Rashtrapati Bhawan special permission to visit the Mughal Gardens can be
taken depending on the month and day of visit). Gala lunch at a farm house
restaurant. Local musicians in attendance. Also time free for street
shopping at the village shops. In the evening view a one hour exclusive
dances of India shown in the rooftop of Village Bistro resturant. Followed
by gala theme dinner. Overnight.
Day 03 Delhi / Mandawa
After breakfast, drive for Mandawa located in the Shekawati region of North
- West Rajasthan. Reach Mandawa and transfer to Mandawa Castle (A two
hundred and forty year old fortess, that has been converted by the family
into a fine example of traditional hospitality) Caparisoned camels and
horses saunter in, carrying the group members as musicians blow horns and
drums roll the Royal Welcome. In the Castle, step into an arched
open-fronted verandah and relax over exotic refreshements, or wander in the
under the high ceilinged 'Diwan Khana' (Darbar Hall), where the walls
adorned with ancient portraits of the Mandawa family, recall a bygone era
that was royal, rich and resplendent. Evening, full castle will be
illuminated and special Gala dinner with cocktails will be organised for
you. Overnight at the castle.
Day 04 Mandawa
After b/fast, visit some of the havelis in the small town around Mandawa.
Afternoon, explore Shekhawati region. Overnight at the castle.
Day 05 Mandawa / Delhi
After breakfast drive back for Delhi. Enroute Traditional Indian lunch at
Neemrana Fort. On arrival transfer to the city for farewell dinner and
transfer to airport in time to connect flight for onward destination.
