Few places in the world offer such a
diverse array of attractions in such a relatively small area. So, you
can be spoiled for a choice of things to do between games, or while your
partner plays golf.
We do recommend that you visit at least one Wildlife Sanctuary during
your trip. Some parks can be toured on elephant back (or by jeep).
Tiger, Panther, Gaur (Indian Bison), Spotted Deer, Ibex, Langurs, Bonnet
Monkeys, Jungle Fowl and birds too numerous to mention are just some of
the animals you may see. You might also choose to visit the world famous
Romulus Whittaker Crocodile and Snake farm near Madras.
If you are an angler as well as a golfer, then you should take the
opportunity to wrestle with the mighty mahaseer of the Cauvery River, or
fish for trout in fresh mountain streams (Season-September to February).
Enjoy India's rich culinary heritage. Traditional South Indian cuisine
is the order of the day. On both the Malabar and Coromandel coasts,
excellent freshly caught seafood of all kinds can be enjoyed. Dining out
in Madras can be a real gastronomic treat especially while witnessing
traditional dance or music.
